• New composite core – A 30% stiffer core combined with a firmer knee allows for better seal to the ice in a butterfly and improved puck rebounds. 

• Thinner construction - A 40% thinner construction in the thigh rise area allows for easy pad overlap when skating, getting up, or in a stance. The pads are more reactive during butterfly transitions and recovery, providing greater mobility in game situations. 

• Increased landing block stiffness - A new knee landing block construction and enhanced stiffness ensure greater pad stability when in a butterfly. This makes on-ice saves much more confident. 

• Elastic toe tie system - Looks similar to a traditional lace but stretches nicely and fastens with two Velcro straps that pass through the skate. The elastic toe connection helps the goalie reduce strain on knees and ankles while helping the pad snap back into place while maintaining the flexibility needed for quick saves.
