• CCM AXIS A1.9 pads feature a new, even thinner profile and a new LITEXCORE, which has further reduced weight and improved maneuverability; additionally, the pads now allow for even more powerful puck rebounds. By kicking rebounds further away, the goalie gains more time to recover to the correct position and prepare for subsequent shots.
• Thanks to the use of extremely stiff internal foam materials, the pads provide excellent energy re-distribution, allowing the goalie to make lightning-fast movement changes during rapid stance transitions.
• Top-tier material on sliding surfaces made with SPEED SKIN technology ensures high durability and, above all, allows the goalie higher sliding and transition speeds.
• One of the best strapping systems, the Quick Motion Strap System, is further enhanced and simplified on the CCM AXIS A1.9 pads. The calf strap can be customized and fastened exactly to your needs, making the transition from butterfly back to stance as fast and comfortable as possible. The new fastening system and reinforced foam layer at the knee landing area provide the goalie with greater comfort during butterflies and reduce strain on the knee and hip joints. Attaching the skate to the pads is now also comfortable and lightning-fast thanks to the flexible Velcro fastening.
